I spent some time in Norway where I directed two (of six total) commercials for Redd Barna (Save The Children.) Our team consisted of Ken Tsui (director,) Kevan Funk (director,) and Benjamin Loeb (cinematographer.) We worked with an awesome production company called Feil Film who were absolutely awesome. I miss the Feil Film guys already!

After two weeks of the shoot, we all traveled around Europe and met up with friends/ relaxed on beaches/ and explored. Here are some pictures:

I was vaguely familiar with some of the work he did with Brian Eno and on a whim decided that tonight would be Harold Budd night. Was completely blown away after listening to Pavilion of Dreams (1978) and then sealed the deal with his 1986 collaboration with Cocteau Twins called The Moon & The Melodies. Seriously, everybody should own at least these two records, if you don’t already, and of course the Brian Eno stuff is solid as well.

Golden, just golden.
